Abstract
Limes (Tilia spp.) do not cover large forest areas in Serbia, so they are not classified as economically valuable forest tree species. Consequently, limes have not been paid much attention to and they have been neglected from economic aspect, but they are valuable and widely used as ornamental and park species.
