Abstract
Greek flora is well known for its richness and diversity. Although the East Aegean area is one of the biogeographical subdivisions of Greece which don’t have a large number of rare or local endemic species, our explorations showed an impressing diversity. Subject of our explorations was the inventory of the plant species and the vegetation units of the isolated small islands of the East Aegean area and generally the study of the floristic diversity in these islet groups.
