Abstract

Some reports showed that arctic rhizobia have better symbiotic efficiency than temperate rhizobia under low temperature conditions (Prévost et al., 1994). In temperate regions, low temperature may inhibit inoculant strain effectiveness. Understanding mechanisms related to cold-adaptation may be important for the genetic construction of cold-adapted strains.
