Abstract
For an astronomer used to navigate in the extragalactic world, it is more than a challenge to provide the conclusions of an Advanced Study Institute dedicated to the search of extra-solar planets! Let me handle this task with the eyes of someone new to the field and just curious and amazed about it: I shall provide some of the remarks I drew after the presentations and a number of messages I picked up all along this 10 days of exciting discussions.
