Abstract

Primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), and chronic autoimmune hepatitis represent the vast majority of autoimmune liver diseases. An increased prevalence of extrahepatic autoimmune manifestations, such as Raynaud’s phenomenon, Sjögren’s syndrome, autoimmune thyroiditis and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), are present in all these disorders.
