The European Reliability Data System-ERDS: Status and Future Developments

  • Chapter
Reliability Data Banks

Abstract

As part of the Nuclear Safety Programme of the JRC (Joint Research Centre) of the Commission of the European Communities, a project was carried out to create a centralized data system to collect and organize information related to the operation of nuclear power plants (NPPs): this system was called ERDS (European Reliability Data Sytem). At present, ERDS is exploiting information already collected in national data systems and information derived from single reactor sources.
