Effective Purification of Monoclonal Antibodies by Fast Flow Affinity Chromatography

Abstract

The aim of this study was to purify monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) from a large amount of hybridoma supernatants using fast flow affinity chromatography (AFC) at high yield and to investigate the optimal pH of MAb elution and antigen reactivity of Chuzan virus-specific MAbs at acidic pH. The fast flow affinity technique were efficient for preparative-scale purification of M Ab, and some acidic buffers for M Ab elution increased the reactivity of Chuzan virus-specific MAbs.
