Abstract
The six sugar beet cultivars were grown in sand cultures, supplied with different levels of nitrogen (1/8N, 1N, 2N). The plants were inoculated with different Azotobacter strains. Dry matter masses of shoot as well as concentration and contents of nitrogen were determined. Our results show that the obtained effect considerably dependent upon relationships between a certain genotype, Azotobacter strain and level of nitrogen.
