Abstract
DNA Restriction patterns of eighteen strains of Azospirillum were obtained with SDS-PAGE and silver staining. Each strain was shown to have a unique, stable pattern that enables its sure recognition. Strains were clustered with the UPGMA method into two main groups corresponding to the species level.
