Abstract
I am delighted to participate in this symposium, and to discuss biometeorology, and Helmut Landsberg’s contributions to it. His impact upon this branch of applied meteorology was considerable, and what we know about relationships between the atmospheric environment and various organisms, principally man, is due in no small part to his efforts.
