Abstract
In order to investigate nonlinear effects at work in the pulsations of a ZZ Ceti star, G191 16, a wavelet analysis is carried out on a part of its light curve. Results show that its pulsations are strongly nonlinear and cannot be interpreted in a linear framework, in which nonlinearities, apart from generating finite oscillation amplitudes, only act as small perturbations.
