Abstract

Experiments in which measurements have been made on the experimental units before the treatment were assigned will be dealt with in this chapter and the next. The analysis of sequences of observations with initial observations as covariates will be covered in this chapter; the use of initial information in the design of experiments will be considered in Chapter 6.
