How do you change the culture of an organization?

An organization is a bit like a living organism, continually having to adapt to new environments and forever in search of food or profit. Today our organizations may also incorporate higher values in their culture, such as creating a good place to work and interrelating in a positive way with the local community and society in general. With the rate that the world is changing there will be a greater need for organizations to change their culture to react to the new forces in the marketplace and the need to make more effective use of the scarce resource of people.
