Abstract

There are many condensate polishing, mixed bed regeneration systems operating with various degrees of satisfaction. The many problems in resin separations, resin and chemical cross contamination, resin residuals removals, and excessive use of regenerants will be reviewed. utilities and semi-conductor manufacturers require more stringent performance in respect to obtaining lower residuals or leakages below 0.1 pg/L. An economical improved Four Tank Regeneration System is presented that provides for a superior and more precise control of the resin separations and regeneration.
