Abstract

The Nordic Weather Radar Network, NORDRAD, is a joint project between the Nordic Meteorological Institutes in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The implementation is financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers and the design is made by the Meteorological Institutes with the assistance of external consultant companies. The work began as early as in 1986 (1).
