Abstract
In 50 years from now, in the year 2041, who, apart from those connected with the tea industry, will know anything about the origins of one of the world’s most important beverages — tea. In our present day national newspapers we read — in the frequent polls that are conducted upon every conceivable subject — that a significant number of teenagers, on leaving school, do not even know where to look on a map of the world to find his or her own country, Great Britain! So, what about tea?
