Abstract
Vast areas in Abu Dhabi Eastern Region as it is true for the rest of United Arab Emirates are facing severe problems of salinization. In order to rehabilitate these areas imaginative corrective approaches are essential and this calls for specialized technical know-how which the country must develop. The paper shows which plant species and what cultivation techniques are presently employed in the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi.
