Chrysomelidae in the Arctic

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Series Entomologica ((SENT,volume 50))

Abstract

Few species of Chrysomelidae are truly arctic. In a recent report 11 such species were recognized (Silfverberg, 1989), and one more should be added (LeSage, 1986). Additionally, some species reach the Arctic, although their main range lies further south. Most of the arctic species belong to the subfamily Chrysomelinae, but Galerucinae are also represented.
