  • Chapter
Information Transfer: New Age — New Ways

Abstract

The first CD-ROM workstation in the Institute of Health Carlos III was installed late in 1989. Since then, we have acquired 10 different CD-ROM databases and a current awareness system in diskette. The databases run in 7 workstations in different libraries and documentation units and provide automated search service to all Institute personnel.
