Abstract

In this paper I shall say something of the background to the establishment of the Clearing House, what we hope to achieve in the dissemination of information and advice on the assessment of health care delivery outcomes, and why I believe the information sector is moving towards the development of an evaluative dimension in addition to those of information store and retrieve.
