Abstract
The Dutch Association for Librarians (NVB) is a well organized association. In the Netherlands most of the librarians are members of the association, sometimes as individuals, sometimes as institutional members. In nearly every library or documentation centre at least one librarian is affiliated. The association has 2400 personal and 570 institutional members and the members are divided into six sections. One of these sections is the ‘Biomedical Information Group’ (BMI).
