Abstract
The advent of modern immunochemical techniques subsequent the development of hybridoma technology has identified a plethora of cancer associated antigens. Whilist the measurement of these in serum or other body fluids has limitation in respect of diagnosis, they represent major advances in the monitoring of malignant disease and its treatment.
