Abstract
There are five-fold differences in breast cancer incidence rates around the world [1], and migrants moving from low- to high-incidence countries acquire rates close to those of the new country after one generation [2]. Differences in diet, among other lifestyle influences, may explain these observations but no dietary component except alcohol can yet be confidently associated with increased risk of breast cancer.
