The New Theory of Evolution — A Theory of Democratic Societies

  • Chapter
Revolutionary Changes in Understanding Man and Society

Part of the book series: Theory and Decision Library ((TDLA,volume 21))

Abstract

The figure below is a graphic abstract of this paper. The triangle shows the transitions from the biological to the stochastic and the sociocultural theory of evolution. Outside the triangle, some disciplines are listed which are today incorporated into the stochastic theory of evolution or possess similar structural features. The solid arrows connect the historical sources with later developments; the broken arrows stand for structural, analogical, and similar comparisons between the different theories of evolution discussed in this article.
