Abstract

The spectra of 54 objects listed by Duerbeck (1987) in A Reference Catalogue and Atlas of Galactic Novae were shown. These novae, which erupted from 1783 to 1986, were observed to study long-term spectroscopic evolution. The spectra were taken in 1990 with Lick Observatory’s 3-m Shane telescope (shown at 11-Å/channel) and in 1991 with the 2.5-m Isaac Newton Telescope (binned to 11- and 21-Å/channel).
