Abstract

This is a brief discussion of new possibilities provided by solid state chemistry in chemical technologies. It is proposed to substitute the conventional “wet” processes by solid state ones in order to avoid the formation of liquid wastes. This may be a key to the environmentally safe technologies in various industrial applications.
