Abstract
In the previous chapters I have tried to give a systematic progression in the description of dusty plasma waves, starting with the simpler electrostatic and electromagnetic modes, and afterwards including specific complications in dusty plasmas, like fluctuating grain charges, self-gravitational effects and mass and size distributions. Evidently, these are by far not the only wave phenomena that can occur in dusty plasmas. For various reasons, of which lack of space is one, I can only devote an all too short chapter to some of the other modes, which require extensive modifications to the basic model used up to now. Then there is the current state of the literature, where the modes discussed below have not received as much attention as other, apparently more popular wave types. At a different level, my own expertise and research have only recently evolved towards waves in inhomogeneous plasmas.
