Abstract

Remote sensing data are widely used at the present time in the study of oil-gas-bearing basins and hydrocarbon field forecasting. In addition to satellite image geological and structural interpretation and morphometrical analysis of topographical and bathymetrical maps original methods of oil-gas field forecasting are developed.
