History and physical examination of the larynx

When a history is taken from a patient with a laryngeal problem, there is an opportunity of simultaneously examining his or her voice. There are only two vocal symptoms:
Here there is no voice, a whisper or air wastage.
- dysphonia or hoarseness
Here the voice is rough.
