Abstract
Enkephalinergic nerves are present in the gallbladder but their role is not known. We examined the effect of the σ agonist met-enkephalin (ME), the μ agonist morphine (MS), and the к agonist dynorphan (DYN) on circular muscle strips prepared from the guinea pig gallbladder.
