Abstract

The teaching of mathematics is witnessing substantial changes, with the widespread use of computer technology. The new tools are reshaping the kind of mathematical knowledge needed by prospective citizens, laypersons, workers, specialists or researchers. They are also affecting the methods and approaches to math teaching.
