Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to define patterns of fetal growth which are seen in various maternal and/or fetal diseases or conditions. It is also designed to demonstrate the value of using intrauterine growth charts to detect high-risk newborn infants and to suggest specific morbidities occurring at various positions on the charts.
