Abstract

I have been asked to explain in a few words why the Scientific Committee of the Thrombosis Service of the Netherlands Red Cross has recommended the use of Owren’s ‘Thrombotest’ for the control of patients suffering from thrombo-embolic diseases and treated with indirect-acting anticoagulants.
