Abstract

The fourth and concluding part of the present volume will be devoted to a topic which we have largely avoided so far in previous parts of this book: namely, to a discussion of the radiation received from the lunar surface in diverse parts of the spectrum, of its various properties and of their bearing on the specification of the physical structure of the lunar surface from its topmost layer down to a depth of many metres.
