Abstract
T. atlanticus is widely distributed in Bulgaria. Each year it multiplies to a great density and causes considerable reduction in the yields of cereal, leguminous and vegetable crops. Its great economic importance as an enemy of farm crops and the lack of full information concerning its distribution, harmfuiness, bio-ecology and means of control prompted us to make it the object of our studies.
