Abstract

The genetics of photosynthesis is a complex and important problem of general biological significance. The ultimate aim of work in this field is to learn how to control the photosynthetic process and to improve the photosynthetic apparatus on a genetical basis and in this way obtain new plant cultivars with high photosynthetic activity.
