Zusammenfassung

Verf. unterzog das Labyrinth von Meerschwein, Hund, Katze und Maus einer umfangreichen histologischen Analyse, die sich auf die Stützapparate und die Struktur der Haarzellen des Cortischen Organs, die Endflächen des N. cochlearis und N. vestibularis und das Vorkommen von Zentralkörpern im Epithel des Ductus cochlearis erstreckte. Die anatomischen Einzelheiten können hier nur insoweit berücksichtigt werden, als sie für die Physiologie des Hörens bedeutsam sind.

Abstract

The author subjected the labyrinth of guinea-pigs, dogs, cats, and mice to an extensive histological analysis, which extended to the supporting apparatus and the structure of the hair cells of the organ of Corti, the end surfaces of the N. Cochlearis and the N. Vestibularis, and to the presence of central bodies in the epithelium of the Ductus cochlearis. The anatomical details can only be taken into consideration here in so far as they have significance for the physiology of hearing.
