Transport Properties of Layered Structure Metals

  • Chapter
Optical and Electrical Properties

Part of the book series: Physics and Chemistry of Materials with Layered Structures ((PCMA,volume 4))

Abstract

Layered structure metals are, of course, rather anisotropic in structure and this gives rise to a large anisotropy in practically any electrical property; even more interestingly however, they exhibit phase transitions quite unlike those found in ordinary metals.
