Abstract

The special primitive of the present calculus is the two-place predicate “W”, which has already been explained as applying between two individuals if and only if they are discrete complexes comprised in a single concretum. “W” is read “is with”, “is at”, “occurs with”, “occurs at”, or “are together”; and it applies, for example, between a color and a place at which the color occurs, between a place and a time at which the place occurs, and between a color- spot and a time at which the color-spot occurs.
