Abstract
Globalization of the world economy shapes the space market place in numerous ways and commercialization has radically changed the traditional space markets. As the market sets the price, in order to remain both competitive and profitable, industry must maximize its efficiencies and control its costs while maintaining the quality of its products and services. Increasingly, teaming and commercial outsourcing are driving program development and efficiencies within the industry.
Through Lockheed Martin Space Operations (LMSO), the Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMCO) has developed teaming and commercial outsourcing expertise to meet successfully the needs of its commercial and government customers, both today and tomorrow.
