Abstract

New opportunities for architectonic design and representation in three-dimensional virtual spaces have arisen thanks to computers, networks, and new media in general. An environment with unique three-dimensional interfaces for the creation of spatial scenarios has been developed. The possibilities were explored in two successive courses in architecture and new media. Design in space and time, the investigation of special characteristics of digital spaces and the creation of a hyperstructure were the main topics of the creative work.
