Abstract

We consider nonlinear lattice models with nonlinear dispersive as well as long range interactions with r -s dependence on distance. We find exact analytical compact solutions in the continuous limit for two ranges of the exponent s. We show that under circumstances these continuous solutions survive in the discrete purely nonlinear dispersive case.
