Abstract
This paper presents a mobile multi-modal telepresence and teleaction (MTPTA) system for telemanipulation in wide area real remote environments. An interactive stereo visual telepresence system allows human operators to actively be present in the remote environment with high fidelity 3D visual immersion. The mobile teleoperator is remotely con-trolled by IP communication and commonly available WWW standard software.
