On the magnetic ordering of R6Fe13X intermetallic compounds: (R = Pr and Nd; X = Si, Ge and Sn)

Abstract

We present 57Fe Mössbauer spectra of Nd6Fe13Ge and Pr6Fe13Si obtained in the temperature range 295–450 K to show that the magnetic ordering process in R6Fe13X takes place in stages, related to the layered structure.
