Abstract
The paper considers basic pathways for realizing technical solutions related to management of Liquid Radioactive Wastes (LRWs) and Solid Radioactive Wastes (SRWs) produced during Nuclear Submarine (NS) operation, repair and utilization operations. These pathways were developed by the All-Russian Research Institute of Applied Energy Technologies (ARRI AET) and are aimed at appreciably reducing Radioactive Waste (RW) amounts and, thus, improving the environmental situation in the Northwest region of Russia.
