Abstract
On the first pacemaker colloquium, organised by Vitatron in Arnhem, the Netherlands 1975, we had the occasion to discuss the reliability of our pacemaker surveillance system (1). This reliability clearly improved in 197 5 and 1976. In these last two years 114 pacemaker replacements were carried out at St. Raphael University Hospital in Leuven.
