Abstract
Atrial pacing, atrial synchronous ventricular pacing, and atrioventricular sequential pacing have obvious physiological advantages over conventional ventricular pacing. However, current methods of ventricular pacing give very good results in most cases of arrhythmia in which pacemaker treatment is indicated.
