Instantaneous Measurements of Flame Temperature and Density by Laser Raman Scattering

  • Conference paper
Proceedings of the Dynamic Flow Conference 1978 on Dynamic Measurements in Unsteady Flows

Abstract

Combustion science has substantial need for spatially and temporally wellresolved, non-intrusive and non-perturbing measurement techniques. Demanding requirements are put upon candidate methods by the necessity to probe rapidly fluctuating, hot flows which can be out of thermal and chemical equilibrium.
