Abstract

This chapter is concerned with how to make a list of the factorizations of a monomial m, by means of instructions which change one factorization into another by multiplying two of its factors together. We make use of the concepts of Chapter II on monomials, because an element of the language of factorizations of m is equal to a list of elements from the language of monomials.
