Abstract
Although several studies have demonstrated the development of ventricular hypertrophy in animals following physical conditioning (1), few data exist concerning the effects of exercise training on ventricular dimensions and performance in man. The purpose of this study was then to assess, non-invasively, the changes in cardiac structures and performance in subjects undergoing regular daily training.
